The school psychology program is dedicated to helping students succeed academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally. By working closely with teachers, parents, and community organizations, we create a positive learning environment and strengthen the connection between school, home, and the broader community.
With Students:
Offer interventions, guidance, and support for social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
Identify learning barriers and suggest effective teaching strategies.
Encourage respect and appreciation for cultural diversity.
With Families:
Recognize and address challenges affecting school performance.
Assess student needs and determine eligibility for support services as part of a team.
Conduct psycho-educational evaluations when needed.
Support students’ emotional and behavioral well-being.
Provide parenting guidance and strengthen home-school partnerships.
Connect families with community resources.
With Teachers:
Help identify and remove obstacles to learning.
Develop tools to monitor student progress.
Implement academic and behavioral intervention strategies.
Promote positive and engaging classroom settings.
Motivate students to take ownership of their learning.
